Two instances of the divine name in 6th century codex

Thought I would share what I found when researching the Greek form of the divine name. Apologies if this has already been brought up in a video or elsewhere. 

Codex Marchalianus, dated to 6th century, uses the divine name twice in the marginal notes when giving the meaning of names within Ezekiel. I managed to source both these cases and highlighted them in red below.

In the first case, Ezekiel 1:2, the name Jehoiachin (Ιωακειμ) has the marginal note "ιαω ετοιμα+σμος" which I believe means something like "Jah prepares" - similar to the Hebrew meaning:



And in the second case, Ezekiel 11:1, the name Benaiah (βαναιου) has the note "οικοδομη η οικος ιαω" which I believe means something like "building or house [of] Jah":

Nice post, Ryan. Eventually we'll get more people in here and make it a more useful place for things like this. IAW corresponds to YHW, or Yaho, which I believe is the same things as YHWH, with the final H marking the sound of W as "o." Recent support for this has been found in a 13th century BCE Hebrew text, which uses not YHWH, but YHW, or, "Yaho." This also proves that as far back as the 13th BCE they were pronouncing the diving name as "Yaho," not as, "Yahweh," as you cannot get "Yahweh" from YHW...
